Viewpoint of A Fraga
 From
the viewpoint of A Fraga we can admire, without a doubt, one of the best
sights Ría de Vigo can offer. Its privileged situation, one of
the highest places in Moaña, allows us to have a landscape
that extends along the green valley of Río
da Fraga until it gets to Xunqueira beach,
where the river changes into Río
dos Ladróns. Beyond we can
see the sea, and Vigo, whose hills prevent us to see anything
else. When the night falls we can see Vigo at its best. The lights
of the city reflecting on the sea makes a wonderful snapshot
for those who love photography. Summing up, a perfect place to
"feed" your eyes as a starter before going to Taberna A´DE LINO, just one hundred metres from the viewpoint.

Not far from Taberna
A´DE LINO we can find the river-bed
of Río da Fraga, one of the most plentiful rivers in Moaña. Through
the years it has been essential for the economy and subsistence
of the people living around, for apart from guaranteeing the irrigation
of the land in the banks, the strength of its water provided the
numerous mills placed along the river with the energy needed to
grind the corn and so produce the flour to make bread. 
These mills have been recently recovered
after restoring them conscientiously and thus creating a trekking
route known as Río da Fraga
route which extends along Río
da Fraga making a tour more than attractive not only for those who
love nature but also for the curious minds about history and ethnology.
Between
the centre of Moaña and Samertolameu island, A Xunqueira beach
is the perfect place to enjoy a summer day with the family due
to the shallowness of its waters and the gentle transition of
the tides that guarantee the security of the youngest. We should
not forget, of course, the strange sight the numerous sandbanks
offer after the low tide.
This church, located in the parish with the same
name, is one of the most important Romanic monuments in Galicia.
Its impressive façade and its wonderful belfry are examples
that confirm what is stated above. We have to mention the celebration
held between the tenth and the twelfth of November when the neighbours
seize the opportunity to taste the newly made wine along with
chestnuts at the different furanchos, little taverns opened for
the occasion around the church.
